Crispy Kale chips

I buckled down and baked kale chips. I’ve heard people raving about them for years. I just never got around to making them. That all changed yesterday after I grabbed a bunch of kale at the supermarket.
They were a snap to make. And it only took 12 minutes. Shake the tray to hear the snap, crackle and popping to know they are done. Taste? They didn’t lose the distinct kale flavour with the baking. Some people say they taste just like potato chips. I’m not convinced. But I did like them. Tasty!
Here’s the recipe I used:
Ingredients:
  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or Pam spray lightly over the kale)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (or use any spice like garlic)
Directions:
1. Preheat an oven to 350 F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with  salt.
3. Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
