I was so cold after the race that I could barely hold my iPhone. The horror, right?
I’ll post a full race report on Friday (along with my column in the paper). Meanwhile I want to let you know that I survived. I didn’t take too many photos or carry my iPhone during the race.
It was great to see Sona & Brent and Yvonne! Little Mira took part in her first stroller run. I didn’t tell Sona this but I think she should make stroller running her thing. I recently heard a podcast about the fastest runner pushing a stroller marathon time. I bet with a little training the two gals could take home the gold.
I digress … There were so many familiar faces from the Red Deer running scene. It was a small race – only 230 runners in all – so I was bound to bump into people I knew. Love that about small races.
